Many of the people involved in Empoword, our spoken word project, have been moved by the scenes we have seen emanating from Pakistan, where flooding is having a horrific impact on people’s lives.
Our performers have decided to come together to raise funds for the work of Slough-based Charity Khalsa Aid, who are currently delivering aid on the ground.
On Friday 30th September, at 6.30pm, poets, rappers and singers are going to share their art at The Curve, to raise much-needed funds.
